Decorative plate produced in Limoges between approximately 1901 and 1932, hand-painted by an artist identifiable with the signature "Depitout", depicting naturalistic scenes in the typical early 20th-century Franco-European style.

The GDA manufactory represents one of the most important names in Limoges porcelain at the beginning of the 20th century. The naturalistic subject – strongly inspired by Japonist aesthetics and the school of botanical-zoological observation – reflects the French taste for decorative refinement. The signature "Depitout" indicates the presence of a specialized painter, a common practice in the era of artistic manufacturing
