Oval pedestal faïence jardinière, panelled ribbed body with carmine pink floral swags on white ground, scalloped rim and sage green ribs. Sumptuous form, romantic palette — a piece for an entrance hall, a table, or a winter garden that never goes unnoticed.

Dimensions: 33 x 27 cm, height 20 cm. Unidentified manufacture, late 19th century. Craquelure present on the inner base.
